As chief financial officer, Tim Ranney brings extensive finance and operations management experience including the last 15 years focused on successful venture capital start-ups and turnarounds. Most recently he was vice president and chief financial officer of Vertel, Inc., a publicly traded, international telecommunications software and professional services company specializing in software and custom network management solutions for global enterprise businesses. Prior to Vertel, Ranney was vice president and chief financial officer at Eventra, Inc., a leading provider of supplier relationship management software for the direct material supply chain. He has worked in two healthcare related companies including Aperture Credentialing, Inc., a leading provider of data management services to managed care organizations, and Physicians' Online, a web-based healthcare media company now owned by WebMd. He was a founding partner of e-Data Resources, an environmental information company now owned by DMG Information, Inc. Ranney holds an MBA in Finance and Banking from Case Western Reserve University and a BBA in Finance and Investments from The George Washington University.
