Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Recount results from studies investigating the treatment of multiple myeloma, including refractory or treatment-naive disease, and patients facing transplantation; and genes associated with high-risk multiple myeloma.

  • Discuss outcomes in patients treated for HIV-related lymphoma, large-cell lymphoma, follicular lymphoma, and mantle cell lymphoma, including results in studies with novel treatments.

  • Describe data regarding the treatment of myelodysplastic syndrome and chronic myeloid leukemia (CML), including imatinib-resistant CML.
