Thank you for your interest in this live program. Registration is closed, as the current schedule has been completed. Please email info@clinicaloptions.com for more information.

This live satellite symposium will feature several engaging talks on the state of the art in the application of research on receptor-mediated signaling into clinical practice. Topics to be addressed include the role of EGFR targeting in gastrointestinal cancers, the emerging role of multitargeted TKIs in a variety of cancers, and the importance of the tumor microenvironment as a target for anticancer therapy.

Not an official event of the ASCO Annual Meeting. Not sponsored or endorsed by ASCO or The ASCO Foundation.

Goal

The goal of this activity is to enhance the quality of care provided by healthcare professionals involved in the management of patients with cancer by providing them with updated information regarding translational research and scientific advances in treating multiple tumor types through targeted agents.

Target Audience

This activity is intended for physicians and other healthcare providers involved in translational research and the care of patients with cancer.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe recent results of clinical studies of anti-EGFR antibodies used in the treatment of patients with solid tumors
  • Describe the rationale for the use of multitargeted TKIs in the treatment of oncology patients
  • Review novel therapeutic strategies for manipulating the bone microenvironment
  • Discuss predictive and prognostic strategies that may help clinicians provide patients with more individualized therapies
