Target Audience

The target audience for the education are endocrinologists and obesity specialists, physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and physician associates/physician assistants.

Learning Objectives

  • Evaluate patients based on the guideline-recommended criteria for diagnosis and treatment of obesity
  • Apply the latest efficacy and safety data to select antiobesity medications for appropriate patients with obesity
  • Integrate patient needs and preferences into the development of comprehensive obesity treatment plans
  • Assess obesity treatment based on patient tolerability, adherence, and progress toward individual weight loss goals

The maximum number of hours awarded for this Continuing Nursing Education activity is 1.5 contact hours.
