Goal Statement
The goal of this activity is to increase learners’ knowledge and competence related to advancing PBC care, including biochemical response, symptom management, and the role of new therapies.

Target Audience
This activity is intended for physicians, including hepatologists and gastroenterologists, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals involved in the care of patients with PBC.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Develop treatment goals for PBC that include evidence-based biochemical targets and improvement in symptoms and quality of life

  • Outline the role of new PBC therapies in achieving biochemical targets and symptom management

  • Design comprehensive treatment plans for patients with PBC
