Target Audience

This activity is intended for all clinicians who are authorized to dispense controlled substances by the state in which they practice.

The goal of this program is to increase the knowledge, competence, and performance of healhcare providers in the recognition and treatment of substance use disorders.

Review epidemiology and definitions of SUD and OUD in the United States
Facilitate a standardized approach to screening for SUDs and intervening or referring for treatment
Evaluate opioid prescribing for the treatment of OUD
