Analytical Treatment Interruptions: A Necessary Fact in HIV Cure Trials

Analytical treatment interruptions (ATIs) of antiretroviral therapy are needed in HIV cure-related trials to predict viral control after therapy is stopped. ATIs can cause anxiety for people living with HIV and their providers. Learn about the different ATI approaches, criteria for antiretroviral therapy restart, and strategies to reduce HIV transmission during ATI periods.
