Can Long-Acting ART Improve Health-Related Quality of Life in People Living With HIV?

Clinical Thought

Long-acting ART has the potential to revolutionize the way we think about HIV treatment and health-related quality of life. Rather than the burden of a once-daily pill, long-acting treatment could be administered as infrequently as twice per year, freeing people living with HIV from adherence anxiety, stigma, and the daily reminder of their HIV status.
