Target Audience

This program is intended for pharmacists and other healthcare professionals who provide care for people living with or at risk of HIV infection.

Program Learning Goal

The goal of this activity is to improve learners’ competence in implementing optimal HIV treatment and prevention strategies through the appropriate use of contemporary antiretroviral regimens. 

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to: 

  • Assess whether ART changes can be considered to improve quality of life in the setting of viral suppression

  • Apply strategies to engage effectively with patients to understand their perspectives and improve their satisfaction with their HIV care
