Target Audience

This program is intended for physicians, pharmacists, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals who care for persons at risk of HIV acquisition.

Program Learning Goal

The goal of this program is to improve learners’ knowledge and competence regarding the evolving field of HIV PrEP regimens and guideline-based recommendations.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Select the optimal current PrEP regimen for each patient that will maximize adherence, tolerability, and HIV prevention outcomes based on patient and regimen characteristics

  • Identify characteristics of current PrEP regimens that may limit their utility for specific patients and/or in specific healthcare settings

  • Assess the potential for emerging PrEP modalities to meet currently unmet patient needs based on their dosage forms, administration protocols, safety profiles, and/or efficacy

You must receive a test score of at least 65 and respond to all evaluation questions to receive a certificate.
