The Federal Response to Youth HIV Prevention Isn’t Bold Enough … Yet

Clinical Thought

Existing federal programs to increase awareness and use of HIV PrEP have been a good first step, but more needs to be done to improve access to PrEP for young people, particularly young people of color and LGBTQ+ youth. I discuss current bills introduced in Congress and highlight the need for greater efforts to improve PrEP access.
