Target Audience

This activity is intended for Nebraska healthcare professionals who are authorized to dispense controlled substances. 

Program Learning Goal

The goal of this program is to increase the knowledge, competence, and performance of healthcare professionals in the use of the Nebraska PDMP system.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to: 

  • Navigate the Nebraska PDMP platform efficiently, including patient query, delegate management, and clinical alerts

  • Interpret PDMP data to enhance clinical decision-making for the safe prescribing of controlled substances

  • Utilize PDMP information to identify and address potential drug misuse or therapeutic duplications in patient care

You must receive a test score of at least 65 and respond to all evaluation questions to receive a certificate.
