This program is intended for physicians and other healthcare professionals who care for patients with malignant or nonmalignant hematologic disorders.

Program Learning Goal

The goal of this activity is to improve learners’ understanding of how to optimally apply recent practice-changing findings in the treatment of patients with malignant or nonmalignant hematologic disorders.

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be better able to:

  • Apply recently presented data to clinical practice to expand treatment options and improve outcomes for patients with myelodysplastic syndromes and myeloproliferative neoplasms

  • Evaluate new data on novel agents and therapeutic approaches for patients with myelodysplastic syndromes and myeloproliferative neoplasms

  • Appraise how new trial findings might affect treatment of patients with myelodysplastic syndromes and myeloproliferative neoplasms in the future
