Target Audience

This program is intended for medical oncologists and other healthcare professionals treating patients with NSCLC and breast cancer.

Program Learning Goal

This program aims to improve learners’ knowledge, confidence, and competence in using evidence-based and expert-recommended best practices in the care of patients with NSCLC and breast cancer.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Evaluate the biology of HER3 overexpression and the rationale for targeting HER3 in the treatment of solid tumors

  • Plan treatment strategies incorporating HER3-directed therapies into care plans for patients with EGFR-mutated NSCLC who have failed EGFR TKIs, considering ongoing clinical trials and emerging clinical trial data

  • Appraise clinical data results and patient eligibility for ongoing clinical trials exploring the use of HER3-targeted therapy across all breast cancer phenotypes

  • Develop strategies to identify and manage treatment-related toxicities associated with HER3-targeted therapy in NSCLC and breast cancer patients
