This program is intended for healthcare professionals caring for patients with major depressive disorder, including physicians (psychiatrists and family medicine/primary care), nurse practitioners, physician associates/physician assistants, registered nurses, pharmacists, social workers, and psychologists.

Program Learning Goal

The goal of this program is to improve the knowledge, competence, and performance of learners in effort to optimize treatment for patients with MDD.

Differentiate augmentation and switch strategies for the treatment of MDD after inadequate response to a first-line treatment
Assess the emerging evidence for the use of antipsychotics in the treatment of MDD
Construct an individualized treatment plan for a patient with MDD based on patient characteristics
