Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Compare the risks and benefits of optimizing guideline-directed medical therapy during a hospitalization for HF 

  • Evaluate recent clinical trial efficacy and safety data for HF treatment initiation in patients currently or recently hospitalized for HF

  • Incorporate best practices for the management of patients with HF during transitions of care
