Target Audience

This activity is intended for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and registered nurses engaged in the care of patients with tardive dyskinesia.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  • Discuss the prevalence and diagnostic criteria for TD in psychiatric patients
  • Identify TD using the AIMS examination
  • Formulate evidence based treatments for TD, considering both efficacy and tolerability
