Target Audience

This program is intended for physicians, registered nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals who provide care for patients with HIV infection.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  • Describe data that validate the effectiveness of HIV-ASSIST as a clinical decision support tool
  • Formulate guideline-based first-line ART regimens for previously untreated patients, through appropriate use of HIV-ASSIST
  • Identify guideline-based ART regimens for patients with virologic failure, through appropriate use of HIV-ASSIST
