Target Audience

This program is intended for physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, registered nurses, and physician associates practicing in primary care, infectious diseases, and emergency medicine or who otherwise care for patients with uncomplicated UTI across various practice settings.

Program Learning Goal

The goal of this program is to improve healthcare professionals’ knowledge of and competence in uncomplicated UTI and treatment strategies to optimize patient care.

Learning Objectives

After completing this educational program, learners should be better able to:

  • Identify risk factors for treatment failure in uncomplicated UTIs

  • Analyze the impact of treatment failure and burden of disease on both patients and the healthcare system
