Emerging Choices in HIV PrEP: Bridging HIV Prevention Gaps for Women

Clinical Thought

New HIV PrEP options show remarkable efficacy across many populations—including cisgender women. They offer more choice and may address HIV prevention for those who have been unable to benefit from previous approaches. Investigational PrEP strategies suggest that future options will likely continue to expand choices and increase opportunities for individualizing HIV preventive care.
