Target Audience

This activity is intended for European healthcare professionals who treat, care for, and/or support people living with HIV and individuals who need or want PrEP.

Program Learning Goal

The goal of this activity is to inspire European healthcare professionals to recognize aspects of their provision of HIV prevention and treatment where they can implement improvements that will enhance PrEP uptake and ensure that each person receives an individualized regimen that fits well into their life

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize key barriers to PrEP uptake in diverse populations and implement measures to help mitigate these barriers in their healthcare settings

Participation in this self-study activity should be completed in approximately 0.5 hour. To successfully complete this activity and receive credit, participants must follow these steps during the period from December 06, 2024, through December 05, 2025:

  4. Submit answers to the posttest questions and evaluation questions online.

You must receive a test score of at least 65 and respond to all evaluation questions to receive a certificate. After submitting the evaluation, you may access your online certificate by selecting the certificate link on the confirmation page. EBAC® holds an agreement on mutual recognition of substantive equivalency with the US Accreditation Council for CME (ACCME) and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, respectively. 

Through an agreement between the European Board for Accreditation of Continuing Education for Health Professionals (EBAC®) and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EBAC® External CME credits to AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
