Target Audience

This program is intended for physicians, pharmacists, nurses and other healthcare professionals who are involved in the provision of antiretroviral therapy for people living with HIV.

Program Learning Goal

The goal of this program is to enhance learners’ competence in making optimal, evidence-based antiretroviral treatment strategies in specific scenarios where many HIV treaters currently make suboptimal decisions.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to: 

  • Decide whether and how to modify ART in virologically suppressed individuals by critically appraising whether using newer agents may improve their treatment satisfaction

  • Apply evidence-based strategies for complex clinical scenarios, underpinned by the latest scientific data and clinical recommendations
