Target Audience

This program is intended for healthcare professionals who treat patients with narcolepsy, including sleep specialists, psychiatrists, neurologists, primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and physician associates.

Program Learning Goal

The goal of this program is to improve the knowledge, competence, and performance of learners in effort to optimize treatment for patients with narcolepsy.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Summarize the association of narcolepsy and cardiovascular risk considering disease pathophysiology

  • Identify current recommendations to minimize CV risk in patients with narcolepsy

  • Design a patient care plan for treatment of narcolepsy with consideration for cardiovascular risk management
