This activity is intended for neurology-focused healthcare professional teams caring for patients with migraine, including neurologists, nurse practitioners, physician associates/physician assistants, and registered nurses.
The goal of this activity is to improve the knowledge, competence, and performance of learners in effort to optimize treatment and reduce the number of migraine days for patients with migraines.
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
Utilizing AAN/ICSI guidelines and measures, discuss optimized treatment for patients with migraine
Describe the various strategies for obtaining coverage for a preventive migraine treatment medication
Devise a plan for improving performance on a quality measure for migraine prevention
