Target Audience

This program is intended for healthcare professionals caring for patients with Parkinson’s disease dementia, including neurologists, psychiatrists, advanced practice providers (nurse practitioners and physician associates/physician assistants), nurses, and pharmacists.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify pathophysiologic and diagnostic characteristics of PDD
  • Interpret diagnostic data for differential diagnosis in PDD
  • Construct an individualized treatment plan addressing complications of dementia in Parkinson’s disease
