Target Audience

This educational program is intended for medical oncologists and other healthcare professionals around the world who care for patients with cancer.

Program Learning Goal

The goal of this program is to improve the knowledge and confidence of learners in understanding and applying the latest science and clinical trial data on current and emerging TIL therapies.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Appraise the physiology and mechanisms of action underlying TIL therapy 

  • Describe to interested patients and colleagues the process of collecting, expanding, and administering TIL therapy

  • Evaluate the available clinical trial evidence on the use of TIL therapies in melanoma

  • Differentiate between CAR T-cell and TIL therapy toxicity profiles based on available data

  • Identify patients who would be candidates for TIL-based therapies if/once approved
