Target Audience

This educational program is intended for psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, physician associates, general and family practice physicians, gerontologists, pharmacists, psychologists, and social workers and other HCPs who treat patients that may benefit from this education.

Program Learning Goal

The goal of this program is to provide the latest information spanning a variety of topics about tardive dyskinesia including screening, diagnosis, and treatment, with considerations for special populations, and tardive dyskinesia in long-term care and aging populations.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Relate pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties of VMAT2 inhibitors with dosing and titration schedules

  • Construct an individualized treatment plan for patients with tardive dyskinesia with age-related or other special characteristics
