Target Audience

The intended audience for this educational initiative includes pulmonologists and other clinicians who manage patients with NTM-MAC infections.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify clinical features that raise the suspicion of NTM-MAC infection

  • Diagnose NTM-MAC based on current evidence-based diagnostic criteria

  • Evaluate the safety and efficacy of current and emerging therapies for NTM-MAC

  • Integrate guideline-based NTM-MAC therapies into treatment regimens based on current evidence

  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding NTM-MAC treatment selection, expectations of treatment, side effects, monitoring strategies, and treatment adherence

There is no fee for this activity. To receive credit, participants must take the pre-test, view this CME/MOC activity in its entirety, and then complete the post-test, with a score of 70% or better, and evaluation. The estimated time for completion of this activity is 1 hour. To receive their certificates, participants must demonstrate mastery of the presented material via the post-test. Participant is allowed to take the post-test multiple times.
