What are the Delaware Medical License CME Requirements?

Delaware Medical License CME Requirements

The Delaware Uniform Controlled Substances Act Regulations (3.1.3) requires licensees with prescriptive authority to have 2 hours in the area of controlled substance prescribing practices, treatment of chronic pain, or other topics relating to controlled substances.

The Delaware Senate Bill 283, requires professionals who work in Adult or Gerontology in a healthcare setting must complete at least one (1) hour in each reporting period on the topic of diagnosis, treatment, and care of patients with Alzheimer's disease or other dementias.

This information is in accordance with the Delaware Board of Medical Licensure and Discipline. Please note that CME requirements are subject to change. We continue to make updates as we become aware of them. However, healthcare professionals should confirm the most current requirements with their state Board of Medicine for accuracy.
