What are the Oregon Medical License CME Requirements?

Oregon Medical License CME Requirements*

According to House Bill 3359, concerning continuing medical education related to Alzheimer’s disease. The Oregon Medical Board shall encourage each physician with a specialty in primary care or geriatrics, or another specialty designated by the board, to obtain continuing medical education in the detection and early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease and in the appropriate prescribing of antipsychotic drugs to treat patients with Alzheimer’s disease.

This information is in accordance with the Oregon Medical Board. Please note that CME requirements are subject to change. We continue to make updates as we become aware of them. However, healthcare professionals should confirm the most current requirements with their state Board of Medicine for accuracy.
