3:20 PM - 4:20 PM: Beyond the Baseline: A Comprehensive Approach to Diagnosis and Treatment of Tardive Dyskinesia Non-CME Educational Talk Sponsored by Neurocrine Biosciences, Inc.—presented by Andrew Cutler, MD

  • This program provides an overview of tardive dyskinesia, including its phenomenology, prevalence, risk factors, and impact. Faculty will share the clinical data for an FDA-approved treatment option for adults with tardive dyskinesia. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to examine cases of patients with tardive dyskinesia by observing videos of the patients before and after treatment. This non-CME educational program is sponsored by Neurocrine Biosciences.

4:25 PM - 5:25 PM: Beyond the First Line: Navigating the Crossroads of MDD Treatment Switching and Augmentation Strategies—presented by Andrew Cutler, MD

  • When a patient with MDD does not respond to a first-line agent, it can be difficult to decide whether to switch or augment therapy. This session will cover the evidence for switching and augmenting treatment and include an overview of the evidence for augmentation agents in the treatment of MDD, reinforced through patient cases.

5:30 PM - 8:00 PM: Managing Pain and Opioid Use Disorder With Consideration for Both Physical and Psychiatric Manifestations—presented by Theresa Mallick-Searle, MS, PMGT-BC, ANP-BC, and Michael Weaver, MD, DFASAM

  • Join us for this comprehensive, 2.5-hour webinar covering pain management from head to toe. Through expert-led discussions on pain assessment, management options, and opioid use disorder, attendees will gain appreciation for and understanding of the biopsychosocial model of pain and addiction, helping to reinforce clinical strategies that will promote safe, effective, patient-centered care.

Psychologist Continuing Education

Continuing education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.

Social Work Continuing Education
