Goal Statement
The goal of this program is to improve the knowledge, competence, and performance of learners in effort to optimize treatment for patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D) at high risk of cardiovascular events.

Target Audience
This program is intended for cardiologists, primary care physicians, endocrinologists, and other HCPs who manage patients with T2D with risk factors or established CV disease.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Evaluate the latest CV outcomes data and guideline recommendations for GLP-1 RA therapies in the management of T2D 
  • Compare the clinical profiles of GLP-1 RA based therapies for the management of T2D
  • Incorporate GLP-1 RAs into the treatment of patients with T2D and CV risk based on dosing recommendations, the latest evidence, and patient needs

Participants will earn MOC point equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. To receive CME credit and/or MOC points, you MUST pass the post-test and complete the evaluation.
