This program aims to improve learners’ knowledge and competence to advance early detection and evidence-based care, utilizing the latest diagnostic strategies to improve patient outcomes across the care continuum of cognitive decline through Alzheimer’s disease.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Implement evidence-based approaches to incorporate cognitive screening tools into routine practice for earlier identification of Alzheimer’s disease

  • Explain the underlying mechanisms of Alzheimer’s disease, including amyloid and tau pathology, neuroinflammation, and other emerging pathways

  • Evaluate the latest clinical efficacy and safety data for current and emerging treatments for AD

  • Apply current evidence supporting novel diagnostic strategies, including biomarkers, to identify early Alzheimer’s disease pathology in clinical practice
