The goal of this program is to improve the knowledge and competence of learners regarding bleeding management in patients who require antiplatelet medications.

Target Audience
This educational program is intended for neurology physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician associates who care for patients on antiplatelet therapy.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this event, participants should be able to:

  • Differentiate key mechanistic and pharmacokinetic characteristics of currently available antiplatelet therapies
  • Summarize gaps in bleeding management for patients on antiplatelet therapy
  • Evaluate the latest clinical evidence on antiplatelet therapy reversal agents to facilitate appropriate inclusion in patient treatment plans and support upstream choice of antiplatelet medication
