Goal Statement
The goal of this activity is to improve the clinical knowledge and competence among gastroenterology healthcare professionals regarding the culturally sensitive management of South Asian patients with IBD. 

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Detail the cultural influences for South Asian patients on their perspectives of IBD
  • Describe the clinical features of IBD unique to patients of South Asian descent
  • Apply strategies for optimizing culturally competent care for South Asian patients with IBD
