Goal Statement
The goal of this program is to improve the knowledge and competence of learners in effort to optimize treatment for patients with Infectious Disease.

Target Audience
This program is intended for HCPs involved in the management of carbapenem-resistant gram-negative infections including ID and critical care specialist physicians, nurses, and clinical pharmacists.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this event, participants should be able to:

  • Select empiric and targeted antibiotic regimens for carbapenem-resistant Enterobacterales infections integrating regional and institutional epidemiological data and risk factors for antimicrobial resistance
  • Apply best practices for the antibiotic management of complex infections involving Stenotrophomonas maltophilia
  • Design antibiotic regimens to achieve therapeutic targets for carbapenem-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa infections in critically ill patients
