The goal of this program is to improve learners’ knowledge and competence regarding strategies for optimizing current management of people living with chronic hepatitis B, and understanding of progress toward functional cure.

Target Audience
This program is intended for physicians, including gastroenterologists and hepatologists, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals involved in the care of people living with chronic hepatitis B.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this event, participants should be able to:

  • Incorporate expanded and timely treatment for chronic hepatitis B into clinical practice
  • Develop optimal monitoring strategies for patients with chronic hepatitis B
  • Counsel patients with HBV on the benefits of functional cure
  • Describe emerging data on agents targeting a functional cure for HBV
