Goal Statement
This program aims to improve learners’ knowledge, confidence, and competence in the care of patients receiving HER2-targeted therapy in the second-line treatment setting and beyond for HER2+ MBC.

Target Audience
This program is intended for community oncologists, neuro-oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, physician associates, and other oncology healthcare professionals involved in treating patients with HER2+ MBC.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this event, participants should be able to:

  • Summarize the sequence of HER2-targeted therapies for HER2+ MBC treatment based on the latest data and clinical guidelines.
  • Describe the positioning of TKI-containing combination regimens in the current HER2+ MBC treatment landscape, including their role in patients with disease progression after T-DXd and those with CNS involvement.
  • Interpret emerging clinical data supporting combination therapies to optimize patient outcomes and assess the future potential of TKIs, such as tucatinib, as a backbone in HER2+ treatment to prevent brain metastases in early and advanced settings.
