Goal Statement
The goal of this activity is to improve the knowledge and competence of learners in the management of patients with high-risk HR-positive/HER2-negative breast cancer.

Target Audience
This activity is intended for oncologists, nurse practitioners, physician associates, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals caring for patients with breast cancer.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify patients with high-risk HR+/HER2- EBC to guide evidence-based adjuvant therapy selection

  • Properly assess the risk of progression in patients with HR+/HER2- MBC to optimally select and sequence therapy based on available evidence,  consensus guidelines, and expert recommendations

  • Select guideline-recommended adjuvant therapy for patients with HR+/HER2- breast cancer considering prognostic and predictive factors, biological factors, multigene assays, risk assessment algorithms, biomarkers, and novel therapies

  • Monitor and manage adverse events associated with CDK4/6 inhibitor therapy in patients with high-risk HR+/HER2- breast cancer to effectively improve adherence and persistence and maximize clinical outcomes
