Goal Statement
The goal of this activity is to increase knowledge and competence of pulmonologists and other healthcare providers in identifying and treating patients with IPF.

Target Audience
The intended audience for this educational initiative is radiologists and other clinicians who manage patients with IPF. 

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Integrate current guideline-based high-resolution computed tomography patterns when making the diagnosis of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis
  • Identify clinical and imaging conditions that mimic the usual interstitial pneumonia pattern in high-resolution CT scans
  • Discuss how multidisciplinary discussion improves accuracy and confidence in making the diagnosis of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis
