Goal Statement
The goal of this activity is to improve healthcare professionals’ competence in devising individualized ART strategies for each person with HIV and identifying potential solutions to their unmet needs. 

Target Audience
This program is intended for physicians and other healthcare professionals who provide care for people with HIV infection. 

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Apply available evidence when selecting an individualized regimen for each person with HIV when initiating ART.
  • Identify an appropriately individualized switch regimen for each person with HIV when modifying therapy in virologically suppressed individuals.
  • Identify how the next wave of ART agents may enhance patient satisfaction and treatment outcomes by providing additional options for individualized therapy
