Goal Statement
The goal of this activity is to improve learners’ competence in implementing optimal HIV treatment and prevention strategies through the appropriate use of contemporary ARV regimens.

Target Audience
This program is intended for physicians, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants/physician associates, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals who provide care for patients with or at risk of HIV infection.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Integrate the latest data on antiretroviral treatment into the individualized care of persons living with HIV to overcome virologic failure and/or suboptimal immune response
  • Appropriately counsel patients regarding the anticipated clinical role of new and/or investigational ART regimens
