Missed Opportunities in Heart Failure Care: Supporting Early Diagnosis With Cardiac Biomarkers and Maximizing Treatment Potential With SGLT2 Inhibitors

A significant gap persists in the use of biomarkers in clinical decision-making for patients with heart failure. In addition, despite evidence and guidelines for the cardiorenal protective effects of SGLT2 inhibitors, this class of medications is still underused in treating these patients. This program will review the guideline directed medical therapy for patients with heart failure.

This event is not part of the official Scientific Sessions as planned by the AHA Committee on Scientific Sessions Programming.
