Learning Objectives

  • Summarize the association between narcolepsy and cardiovascular risk, with a focus on underlying pathophysiological mechanisms.

  • Evaluate current evidence-based recommendations for minimizing cardiovascular risks in patients with narcolepsy.

  • Design individualized treatment plans for patients with narcolepsy that incorporate cardiovascular risk management alongside symptom control.
