The goal of this activity is to improve learners’ knowledge and competence in managing complex PBC cases, including monitoring, adjustment of therapy, symptom management, and integration of new agents into therapy plans.

Target Audience
This activity is intended for physicians, including hepatologists and gastroenterologists, nurse practitioners, nurses, and other healthcare professionals involved in the care of patients with PBC.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients with PBC, including therapy selection and monitoring parameters

  • Adjust PBC therapy based on biochemical response, symptom burden, and tolerance

  • Incorporate new PBC agents into therapeutic plans for individual patients
