Goal Statement
The goal of this program is to improve the knowledge, competence, and performance of learners in an effort to optimize treatment for patients with HER2+ mBC. 

Target Audience
This activity is designed to address the educational needs of oncologists, radiologists, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, nurses, physician associates and other HCPs involved in caring for patients with mBC. Additionally, it aims to empower patients with vital information to actively participate in their treatment decisions, fostering a collaborative approach to their care. 

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this event, participants should be able to:

  • Apply the latest clinical data on first-line management strategies for HER2+ mBC to treatment plans and enhance communication skills to convey these advancements effectively to patients.
  • Analyze the latest clinical data and guidelines for the treatment of 1L mBC patient populations to inform and enhance individualized treatment strategies.
  • Communicate emerging data and ongoing clinical trial opportunities in 1L HER2+ mBC to educate colleagues and counsel patients, fostering a collaborative environment for decision-making in their treatment journey.
  • Implement strategies to improve patient adherence by accurately identifying factors contributing to therapy attrition, developing tailored interventions to address clinical and psychosocial challenges, and effectively communicating with patients about their treatment options and the importance of completing their prescribed regimens.
