Goal Statement
The goal of this program is to improve the knowledge and competence of learners to optimize timely diagnosis and treatment for patients with PAH. 

Target Audience
This program is intended to reach cardiologists, pulmonologists, internal medicine, and primary care healthcare professionals, including nurse practitioners and physician associates, involved in the management of patients with PAH. 

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Explain the pathophysiology, presentation, and risk of disease progression, emphasizing the role of early detection and diagnosis in enhancing patient outcomes
  • Construct a guideline-directed, personalized initial treatment plan for a patient with PAH
  • Outline evidence for emerging therapy approaches under investigation for management of PAH
