Goal Statement
The goal of this program is to improve learners' knowledge and competence in implementing antiretroviral treatment strategies that may improve the health-related quality of life of people living with HIV.

Target Audience
This program is intended for physicians, pharmacists, registered nurses and other healthcare professionals who provide care for people living with HIV.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Apply a thorough understanding of the “fourth 90” when assessing the health and wellbeing of people living with HIV
  • Identify people living with HIV who are appropriate candidates for LA-ART and may benefit not only in terms of virologic and immunologic response, but also in terms of the potential impact on HRQoL
  • Integrate practical strategies to administer and monitor long-acting ART correctly, and support people living with HIV to maximize their overall HRQoL and wellbeing
