Goal Statement
The goal of this activity is to improve the knowledge and competence of learners in an effort to optimize treatment for patients with HCC.

Target Audience
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of oncologists, interventional radiologists, and other clinicians involved in managing HCC. 

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Analyze and apply recent safety and efficacy data alongside evolving guideline recommendations to optimize the integration of systemic therapies in managing resected/ablated and intermediate-stage HCC.

  • Design comprehensive, personalized treatment strategies that leverage immunotherapy, targeted agents, and locoregional options for patients across all stages of HCC, guided by the latest clinical evidence and individualized patient factors.

  • Implement collaborative care approaches among oncology and interventional radiology teams to enhance patient-centered management of HCC, including seamless care coordination, proactive adverse event management, tailored dosing strategies, and supportive patient/caregiver education.

  • Identify and evaluate patient eligibility for enrollment in clinical trials investigating ICI-based therapies, ensuring that trial selection aligns with the patient's clinical profile and has the potential to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
