Goal Statement
The goal of this program is to improve healthcare professionals’ knowledge and competence related to the burden of RSV in older adults, the safety and efficacy of RSV vaccines, and strategies to make effective vaccine recommendations.

Target Audience
This program is intended for physicians and other healthcare professionals who care for older adults in need of RSV vaccination.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify risk factors for severe RSV disease including age and comorbidities
  • Counsel older adults about the benefits of RSV vaccination
  • Incorporate optimal shared clinical decision-making approaches for RSV vaccination into clinical practice
